Commercial Construction & Concrete Finishing

Town Pump Food Stores Carwash
Our commercial concrete construction can and does include both new and reconstruction repair, as shown in the images here.

Town Pump Food Stores needed some concrete work done that would address many drainage issues at their newest 501 NW Bypass, store here in Great Falls.

Certain conditions existed that had caused the settling of the carwash to a measurement of greater than 3" on the north side, thus resulting in water draining into the carwash service/machine room, and the asphalt on the north side of the store was failing, causing water to puddle just off of the existing sidewalk along the building, and it needed to be replaced as well.

As you can see from the images above, that certain drainage issues that had existed were dealt with by changing the grade in front of the carwash.

Removing the deprecated asphalt and replacing it with concrete to a finished grade 4" higher than the original grade. A small ramp to the service entry door and curbing now exist in the front portion of the carwash, and a drainage swale now exists across the front of the carwash sloping to the southeast draining into the parking lot below. As you can see, a 12' concrete apron now exists on the north side of the store. The deprecated asphalt was removed and replaced with concrete set 6" higher than the original grade, thus allowing water to flow away from the building. This part of the project also included a new concrete handicap access in front of the casino north entrance (click on the images to get a better, larger view).

Project Bid Acceptance, Approval, and Completion

Town Pump Food Stores received and approved our bid, with our guarantee that the carwash would remain open. The project started 7 days after the bid was accepted and approved, and lasted the total of 12 days. The project was completed on budget and on schedule (the carwash remained open during the entire time). Impact on daily business at this Town Pump Food store was minimal as the problems of drainage were addressed.

The staff and the management of this Town Pump Food Store were no less than stellar in their efforts to assist and for their total overall cooperation during the duration of the project.

If and when you ever get the opportunity, please visit any one of our Town Pump Food Stores. They are located throughout our fair state and are ever anxious to provide you with the best in Montana styled hospitality.
