Placing and finishing concrete stairs and concrete stairsets the old fashioned way provides the quality and thickness that's required in order to achieve a long lasting finished concrete product.
Concrete stairs can be set up or otherwise fashioned to compliment the design and style of your home or business. Concrete stair treads can either be built to the standard 12 inches, or can be extended to fit your concrete design needs from 12 inches up to and beyond 3 feet. Standard concrete stair risers are 7 1/4 inches, but can be reduced down to 5 1/2 inches to accomodate a broader or a lower slung appearence.
All of our concrete work complies with A.D.A. (American Disabilities Act) standards. This means that all of the concrete ramps to building entrances are A.D.A. complient by default, and all of our concrete curbing laydowns are set to 8% grading or less.
All of our concrete stairs and concrete stairsets are built to the industry standard unless otherwise specified by the homeowner, builder, or project supervisor.
See below, a few of our previous concrete stairset projects:
The first concrete stairset involved various numbers of steps, with each level ending at a landing.
The second concrete stairset (exposed aggregate), is the inset J style entry way and worked very well for the brickwork and house design overall.
